  • A four-legged step ladder can be used for a single-story structure and an extension ladder for multiple storied buildings.  
  • A wooden ladder is not recommended as it could be wobbly and difficult to balance safely. Use a safe and sturdy ladder with a small shelf strong that can hold a bucket to collect gutter debris.
